The ground rules, plainly
Using this website means accepting the common-sense terms below. They exist so nobody mistakes general information for a promise about their specific door.
Guidance, not diagnosis
Everything on this site, the guides, the salt exposure timeline, the tables, the area pages, is general guidance about coastal garage doors. None of it is a diagnosis of your door, an assessment of your address, or a quote. Garage doors are assessed individually, on site, and the on-site finding always outranks anything a web page suggested.
No prices, on purpose
This site publishes no prices. Repairs are priced on site before work starts; new doors are quoted in writing after a measure. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer at a particular price.
Safety
Garage door springs and cables are under high tension and can cause serious injury. Information here never replaces the basic rule: don't adjust, unwind or detach counterbalance hardware yourself, and don't operate a door that has snapped a spring, frayed a cable or left its tracks.
Images and illustrations
Some images on this site are illustrative, stock or generated, rather than photographs of specific completed jobs. Diagrams and charts illustrate general principles, not measurements of any particular property.
Your rights stay intact
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded by agreement.
The website itself
We work to keep the site available and its information current, but we can't promise either at every moment, and we may change content at any time. The design, text and graphics on this site belong to this business; don't reproduce them commercially without asking.
